Terms of Use
Your use of the site
Reading or using a page means you accept these terms. If you disagree with them, please leave the site.
Information only
The pages explain and describe. They give no money, tax or legal advice and do not tell you to buy, sell or hold anything. For your own situation, speak to a qualified professional.
How to read a dealer table
A row in a dealer table records what a company's own page, or an outside bureau's page, said on the date shown. Terms, ratings and complaint counts move, and some pages could not be opened by our reader, so they are labelled that way. Open the source before you rely on a row. A fact about a company is neither an endorsement nor a warning.
How to read a price
Spot comes from gold-api.com, and the charts use COMEX silver futures closes published through Yahoo Finance. Your browser refreshes the headline figure about once a minute while a page is open, and the site itself is rebuilt every few hours, so a figure may be late or wrong. It is a reference and not a quote, an offer or a basis for a deal.
If a feed stops
When a data source is unavailable we keep the last good figures with their original time stamp rather than show a blank or a guess. Always look at the time beside a price.
The premium checker
The checker takes the price you type, subtracts the silver value of the weight at spot, and shows the difference. It cannot weigh or test silver, and it does not judge whether a price is fair. It is arithmetic only.
How the site earns money
Should you request the Augusta Precious Metals information kit through one of our links and go on to buy from Augusta, it may pay us a commission, and you pay no more either way. Neither the commission nor the chance of it alters our facts, our wording or the order of our pages. Anything between you and Augusta is governed by Augusta's terms, and we are not a party to them. Full disclosure.
Links to other sites
Outside sources are linked for reference. Their terms and policies are their own, and we do not control them.
Limits on our responsibility
As far as the law permits, Safe Silver Guide is not liable for loss that results from using the site or from relying on any fact or figure on it.
Who owns what
Unless a page names another source, the text and design are ours. Short quotations are welcome with the site's name and a link back.
Which law applies
Montana law governs these terms, and its conflict-of-law rules do not change that.
Updates
A new version of these terms carries a new date at the top.
